Biography
Prof. Dr. Sebastian Paris is a renowned figure in the field of dentistry, currently serving as a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Operative, Preventive, and Paediatric Dentistry at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
After completing his dental studies at Charité from 1998 to 2003, he advanced through various academic positions, including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at renowned institutions such as the University of Kiel. He earned his Doctorate Degree in 2005 and completed his PhD Thesis (Habilitation) in 2011. Since 2016, he has been the Scientific Director of the Center for Oral Health Sciences at Charité. Dr. Paris’s leadership extends to his role as President of the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (2019-2020) and, since 2024, President of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahnerhaltung (German Association for Restorative Dentistry).
