Biography
Dr. Schuster is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is Director of Orthodontic Services at the top 10 Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is Program Director of the cleft-craniofacial orthodontic fellowship training program. Dr. Schuster graduated with her DMD from the University of Connecticut, Orthodontic Residency and Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and Cleft-Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship Training at New York University. Dr. Schuster practices full-time clinical cleft and craniofacial orthodontics, including infant ear molding and has contributed to the field through 30 scientific publications and book chapters and over 150 national and international presentations. One of her proudest accomplishments is seeing the cleft-craniofacial fellowship graduates move on to teach and care for patients with complex medical and surgical/orthodontic care.
